Louise Leonard has been a printmaker since she first discovered the delights of the medium whilst studying at NCAD in the 1980s.

She is a member of Graphic Studio Dublin where she makes etchings, linocuts and woodcuts. She has consistently exhibited her prints in galleries nationwide and abroad, has shown with the RHA and the RUA and is a member of the Watercolour Society of Ireland.

Her work is held in National and international collections, including the The National Gallery of Ireland, The National Library of Ireland, The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, Bar Council of Ireland, OPW, Behaviour and Attitudes, Beaumont Hospital Dublin, The Bon Secours Hospital Dublin, The Mountjoy Square Society Dublin, Boston College USA, and The British Library in London.

Louise Leonard’s work is also held in private collections in Ireland, UK, Europe, North and South American and Australia.
