I am a native of Galway City and I have been living in Ennis, Co. Clare since 1985. I studied Graphic Art 

in RTC Athlone and worked in that industry for many years before becoming a full time artist. I work in 

oil, limited edition print and gouache. 

My subject matter includes still life, urban scape and landscape.

My immediate urban surroundings have influenced my artwork. The landscapes I paint are my impressions of the countryside in Clare and neighbouring counties of Galway and Limerick.

The diverse terrain of irregular shaped flooded fields and the changing skyline as seen from the train or the motorway is very appealing and I attempt to capture it in my artwork with my palette of muted tones.
