Hilary is a native of Co Wicklow, and has had a lifelong interest in the arts, particularly in Watercolour painting. She has been a Member of The Water Colour Society of Ireland since 2006 and exhibits with them annually. She has attended numerous courses and workshops in watercolour painting,  tutored by several well known artists, both in Ireland and UK.  

Her paintings are mainly inspired by the beauty and detail of everyday objects and scenes. 

Hilary has won several different awards at exhibition, including at WCSI Exhibitions, and also as a child,  at National Competitions and Exhibitions, e.g. Texaco, Glen Abbey etc. 

She has undertaken many commissions,  and her work is held in many private collections both in Ireland and abroad.
