Born: Sligo in 1941.
Lives in Malahide with husband Pat. Her three grown children include Artist Nuala Clarke.
Commenced painting in 1970. Studied at the Irish School of Landscape Painting (1976 - 1979), and at National College (NCAD) courses on life drawing and painting with Des Carrick and John Coyle (1978 - 1983).
Memberships
Founder Member of the European Institute of Watercolours, 1988.
Elected Member of the Water Colour Society of Ireland, 1999.
Elected Member of the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club, 2000.
Founder of International Association of Watercolours (IAW), 1996
Exhibitions
Numerous solo exhibitions in Ireland, Brussels and Germany, since 1987, including an exhibition titled "Atlantic Coast Ireland" at the European Parliament in 2004 during the course of the Irish Presidency of EU.
