Susan Early

Born and living in Dublin, Susan graduated in Architecture from UCD in 1989. While working as an architect she started printmaking. She is a member of Graphic Studio Dublin since 2012. Susan makes prints in drypoint & aquatint of landscapes which are familiar to her. Strong natural forms, studied in the context of their immediate environment, feature prominently in her work.
She has exhibited in Ireland, Europe, Canada and the USA. Susan spends a lot of time in Sligo and is continually inspired by its picturesque landscape. Many of her subjects are associated with W. B. Yeats.
