Chris Dearden RUA
Chris Dearden was first educated at the Huddersfield College of Art and then worked as a textile designer for 18 years. In 1983, Chris decided to become a teacher in landscape watercolour and he also decided to focus more attention on his own art.
Since 1973, Dearden has lived in Northern Ireland and is a regular contributor to the Royal Ulster Academy. Chris has showed his work in Ireland, Britain and the USA. A series of his paintings have been completed in the Limousin, Loire and the Dordogne regions in France. He has the ability to put his subject on the page exactly how it is.
