I am a self-taught artist and while I often paint in other mediums my real passion has always been for waterolours.

​

Several solo shows gave me the confidence to take my work further and since then have exhibited regularly in the R.H.A. and numerous galleries both in Cork and Dublin.

​

Since becoming a member of the Water Colour Society of Ireland I have concentrated mainly on work in watercolours.

Winning awards with the Society in 1999 and 2005.

​

My work has been in many group shows as a participant and invited artist including a group exhibition under the theme “Waterways” at the Lavit Gallery, Cork, to celebrate the City of Culture.

Work is also in the Limerick University Collection and the Athlone RTC Collection and several private collections in the U.S., Sweden, Germany, England and throughout Ireland.
