Aidan Flanagan

I am an Irish artist/print maker who specialises in creating watercolour paintings and  original, limited edition prints, mainly of the landscape of Ireland.

I use the following techniques in my printmaking - Screenprint, Carborundum, Drypoint, Photopolymer Intaglio, Chine Colle, Aquatint and Monotype.

I self-taught myself how to create screenprints in 1990s, and added further techniques through workshops at Graphic Studio Dublin in 2012.

I have exhibited my work within Ireland at RHA, RUA, Impressions Galway, Graphic Studio Dublin, Botanic Gardens and internationally at Mini Print de Cadaques in Spain, International Print Center New York, 8th British International Mini Print Exhibition (Various venues in UK), Footprint at CCP in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA and elsewhere.

I have had solo exhibitions of my work at United Nations Headquarters, Tiberias, Israel (1995), Toradh Gallery Ashbourne (2013), Taller Galleria Fort, Cadaques, Spain (2015), Seamus Ennis Arts Centre Naul (2017).
